Coral Reef Exploration

If the idea of exploring the secrets of our untouched coral reef captures your interest, why not consider the possibility of joining our reef safari? Led by a knowledgeable
specialist with unparalleled understanding of coral formations and marine ecosystems, this excursion kicks off at low tide, offering a blend of physical engagement,
breathtaking vistas, chances for photography, and an unparalleled firsthand experience of the underwater world.

Snorkelling

It's not until you get beneath the waves that you can really appreciate the miracle of the coral gardens. A wonderland of whimsical fish, fabulously shaped coral and
secretive creatures awaits you. Each guided tour will take two-and-a-half hours... but you'll have memories for eternity. Our team will provide all the equipment you need.

Paddle Paradise

Stand-up paddle boarding is the latest craze – simply stand on your board and paddle away. The Hawaiians have been doing it for centuries. Ideal in Zanzibar's warm,
translucent waters and perfect for coral garden discovery

Dhow Excursions

The ultimate day of Zanzibari pleasure – board our beautiful Swahili dhow and take off for a gentle sail down the spectacular coastline and into the
mangrove swamps that are so characteristic of the island. Serene yet alive with birds, the mangroves are a source of food and timber for the traditional
Swahili homes. Whilst you’re there, you will also be invited to emulate the locals and carry out some traditional hand-line fishing. Back at the hotel, you can
also discuss with Chef just how you’d like the fish to be presented for your dinner. Our guides, meanwhile, will be pleased to impart their knowledge on
the marine and wildlife of these special wilderness places. Ecologically sensitive, our boats do not anchor on the reef but, rather, drift with the tide.
